Puerperal Inversion of the Uterus

Abstract
|
|
|
Acute puerperal inversion of the uturus occurs very infrequently but is an obsteric emergency.
During 10 year period, 3 inversions have been managed at the Ewha Woman’s University Hospital. All were recognized immediately and manually replaced and there was no postpartum morbidity.
Successful management and reduction of morbidity and mortality rates are dependent upon prompt recognition
